Silk Way West Airlines signs digital partnership agreement with CargoAi at Air Cargo China 2026

Silk Way West Airlines has signed a digital partnership agreement with CargoAi during Air Cargo China 2026 in Shanghai, marking another important step in the airline’s ongoing digital transformation.

The agreement was signed by Wolfgang Meier, President of Silk Way West Airlines, and Matthieu Petot, Founder and CEO of CargoAi, reflecting both companies’ shared ambition to accelerate digital transformation and improve connectivity across the global air cargo industry.

Through the partnership, Silk Way West Airlines will integrate its services with CargoAi’s digital platform, providing freight forwarders worldwide with enhanced access to the airline’s dedicated widebody freighter capacity. The integration is expected to improve rate visibility and, at a later stage, enable digital booking capabilities through the CargoAi platform.

The collaboration will make it easier for freight forwarders to explore available capacity and connect with Silk Way West Airlines’ global network through a more efficient and transparent digital process. It also supports the airline’s broader objective of continuously improving its customer experience and making its cargo services more accessible across international markets.

As an all-cargo carrier operating a modern fleet of dedicated freighter aircraft, Silk Way West Airlines connects key markets across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas through its strategically located hub in Baku. The partnership with CargoAi will further strengthen the airline’s digital distribution capabilities and expand the ways in which customers can access its global cargo solutions.

“Partnering with CargoAi represents an important step in our digital transformation journey,” said Wolfgang Meier, President of Silk Way West Airlines. “By expanding our digital booking capabilities, we aim to offer freight forwarders greater visibility, faster access to capacity and a more seamless experience when connecting with Silk Way West Airlines across our global network. This collaboration reflects our commitment to embracing innovative solutions that create additional value for our customers and support the continued development of the air cargo industry.”

“We are pleased to welcome Silk Way West Airlines to the CargoAi digital ecosystem,” said Matthieu Petot, Founder and CEO of CargoAi. “Its extensive global network and dedicated widebody freighter capacity will provide freight forwarders with broader access to reliable cargo solutions. We look forward to supporting Silk Way West Airlines in making its services increasingly efficient, transparent and digitally accessible to customers worldwide.”

The launch of digital booking of Silk Way West Airlines’ services on the CargoAi platform is planned for a later stage. Further details will be announced through the official websites and social media channels of Silk Way West Airlines and CargoAi.
