Shipco Transport Inc. announces changes in top management

Effective as of December 31st, 2021

Shipco Transport announces that Klaus Jepsen will retire as Group CEO effective December 31st, 2021. This happens after a forty-seven-year tenure within the Scan Group, of which thirty-three years has been as CEO of Shipco Transport. Mr. Jepsen will take on the role as Executive Chairman of Shipco Transport Holding A/S and will continue to serve on various boards of Scan Group, in addition to continuing as member of the Advisory board of WorldWide Alliance (WWA).

The succession plan has been diligently prepared internally over the past year. Shipco Transport can announce that as of January 1st, 2022, Christian Mogelvang, the current Global Chief Operating Officer, will take over as Group CEO. Mr. Mogelvang has been with the company since 1992, holding various management positions in North America.

Mr. Mogelvang´s role will be taken over by Mr. Morten Bach, currently Group Chief Commercial Officer. Morten Bach has extensive experience from within Shipco Transport spanning over 31 years in various management positions in Europe, Asia and North America.

Christian and Morten are based in Shipco global HQ in Chatham, New Jersey and with decades of experience within the Shipco Group, Shipco is certain to continue its successful journey in the global transportation industry.
