SeaLand ”Inspection Fee” for Import and export, arriving or departing from Santo Tomas de Castilla

SeaLand will implement a new surcharge “Inspection Fee” of USD $40 per container, applicable for any import and export arriving or departing from Santo Tomas de Castilla in Guatemala. This new surcharge will be effective as of January 1st, 2021. 

This new surcharge is implemented due to non-intrusive inspections through X Rays in the port of Santo Tomas de Castilla. The surcharge is applicable, as well, for all cargo that goes to and from El Salvador via Santo Tomas de Castilla.
