Realterm secures lease with G4S Training & Safety at final mile facility in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Training and safety company takes 3,213 SQM space at Scharenburg 5

Realterm, a global specialist in transportation-advantaged logistics real estate, announced today that it has completed a lease with G4S Training & Safety at Scharenburg 5, Realterm’s 16,896 square meter high flow through (HFT) facility in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

G4S, a market-leading security and safety company which operates in 90 countries globally, is set to establish a new training center at Scharenburg 5 in October 2024. As part of a five-year agreement, it will occupy 1,315 square meters of warehouse space along with 1,784 square meters of office space and 113 square meters of mezzanine space. The facility will feature modern classrooms, exam rooms as well as skill and breakout rooms to meet G4S’s comprehensive safety training needs. Additionally, the location provides access to sufficient parking providing ample space for staff and trainees.

Scharenburg 5 is an energy label B transportation advanced facility with ample parking and a recently completed façade renovation. Other notable features include solar panels, LED lighting, and smart meters. The property boasts easy accessibility to domestic and international markets via major highways, the Port of Amsterdam, and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
