Port of Miami Terminal Operating Company (POMTOC) announces new CEO

POMTOC has announced the appointment of Gerard van den Heuvel as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 15, 2024. Gerard succeeds Carlos Arocha, who recently retired after a distinguished career with the organization.

Gerard van den Heuvel brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in maritime container terminal operations. With a robust background in the industry, Gerard has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision, making him an ideal fit to lead POMTOC into its next phase of growth and innovation.
