Polar King Mobile announces San Diego dealer

Oct 11, 2024

Polar King Mobile (PKM), the leading provider of affordable refrigerated and freezer trailers, announces Draco Trucks and Equipment is the latest dealer in PKM’s growing nationwide network.

Based in San Diego, Calif., Draco Trucks and Equipment is a full-service Isuzu truck dealer and Cummins authorized dealer that’s served the San Diego community for nearly five decades.

“Bringing Draco Trucks and Equipment into our nationwide network of dealers was essential for Polar King Mobile,” says Executive Vice president Christian Aitken. “Draco, like Polar King Mobile, is a family-owned and operated business, and it’s a household name that’s helped Southern California for more than 49 years. We’re excited to offer a new product to such a well-established and respected business.”

Marnie Busby, sales manager at Draco Trucks and Equipment, says the business wanted to expand its product line and offer a high-quality refrigeration option. Busby says, “We are looking forward to offering the best refrigerated trailer on the market today. We value the opportunity to create a long-term relationship with our customers, and we do that by providing the best customer service available. Polar King Mobile shares similar values, and we know this will be a great opportunity.”

Polar King Mobile designs refrigerated and freezer trailers specifically for outdoor, over-the-road use. The trailers are American made and feature a 100% seamless fiberglass exterior that ensures a sanitary internal environment that remains independent of external temperatures. Every PKM trailer is all-electric and only requires 110V (15 AMP) for power.

PKM refrigerated trailers are designed for anyone and any industry needing reliable cold storage, such as the foodservice, catering, hunting, farming industries, as well as artisan businesses.

Polar King Mobile currently offers three standard sizes of refrigerated trailers: 6’x8’, 6’x12’ and 6’x16’. In August, the company announced its Avalanche Series will be available beginning in 2025.
