Jul 30, 2025

Phillips has appointed Peter Harker as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help scale the business and support the long-term success of its customers. As freight demand continues to grow, so does the need for innovative, high-quality commercial truck parts, solutions and smart trailer technologies that help fleet-based companies operate more efficiently. Harker will play a key role in guiding the company’s financial strategy as Phillips continues to grow its market share and innovate on behalf of its customers.

Harker assumes oversight for the financial health and strategic financial direction of Phillips Industries, Phillips Connect and Phillips Europe. He brings decades of leadership experience to the company’s financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting that supports long-term growth and profitability. Working alongside the Phillips leadership team, Harker will also oversee the company’s financial reporting, cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital structure that ensures financial resilience.

“Our customers are at the center of everything we do, driving us to streamline, organize and simplify how we do business,” said Rob Phillips, CEO of Phillips. “Peter is exactly the right person to provide the kind of financial rigor and leadership that will enable us to embrace our growth opportunities, improve our speed of response and ultimately make Phillips the easiest solutions provider to work with in our category.”

Prior to joining Phillips, Harker held CFO and financial leadership roles with private-equity-backed companies in manufacturing, technology, medical devices and supply chain. He most recently served as the CFO at Dynex Technologies. Harker holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from Brigham Young University and began his career at Deloitte.

“Phillips is perfectly positioned to create meteoric growth by combining a culture of excellence with the trust, innovation and quality Phillips is known for,” said Harker. “I will be focused on leading this extraordinary team to seize every opportunity we have to grow the business and better serve existing and prospective customers.”
