Philippines trade chief quits to return to private sector

Philippine Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual has resigned and will return to the private sector, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s communications office said in a statement Wednesday.
Marcos accepted Pascual’s resignation, and the search for his successor will start immediately, according to the statement.
