PCN members in Austria & Norway join forces for Stardalen hydropower project

Through great cooperation, Gebrüder Weiss and Altus Norway have successfully completed a hydropower project in Stardalen, Norway.

The project involved cargo movements from Austria, Estonia and Spain to the fjords and mountains in Norway. The combination of ocean and road transport with cargo sizes up to 5m in width required particular and special attention due to the remote location and challenging infrastructure.
The 17mw run-of-river hydropower plant is set to commence producing clean energy as of spring 2021.
The cargo was delivered on time and in a specific sequence despite a short and strict schedule. See the gallery below for some photos of the cargo and jobsite.
