Oman Air Cargo now servicing the Netherlands, boosts UK flights with upcoming London double-daily

Apr 16, 2025

Oman Air is launching direct flights to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, starting July 1st, 2025, as well as boosting cargo capacity to London Heathrow, UK, starting this winter.

The Amsterdam route will operate four days a week, served by Oman’s B787-9 fleet, offering 14 to 18 metric tons in each direction.

Double daily flights on the Muscat-London Heathrow route will be relaunched in October 2025, also operated by Oman’s B787-9 fleet. The second flights on the route will initially be added on four days a week, to increase to 14 flights a week by the summer of 2026.

“The launch of our Amsterdam service, along with increased frequencies to London, means we can offer our cargo customers greater flexibility and a wider global reach, supported by our modern fleet,” said Michael Duggan, Head of Cargo, Oman Air.

“We are proud to offer a high quality, reliable service through our efficient, temperature-controlled cargo terminal in Muscat and the new routes are an opportunity for us to boost our cargo offering.”

The Oman Air Cargo team has been taking part in this week’s International Air Transport Association (IATA)’s World Cargo Symposium in Dubai, UAE, with Duggan joining a panel discussion on Air Cargo Customs Compliance, and staff from the carrier’s Muscat headquarters joining the Future Air Cargo Executives (FACES) summit.
