NORDEN sells an additional vessel and adds Panamax to strengthen ocean-based global freight service

Aug 19, 2025

NORDEN announced that they have declared an additional Supramax purchase option and subsequently sold the vessel.

In addition to this sale, they have also purchased a Japanese-built Panamax, which will join the fleet in September 2025. The vessel is a 2017 built wide-beam 85,000 dwt vessel with high grain loading capacity and shallow draft, which makes it particularly well-suited for optimizing cargo intake while maintaining access to ports with depth restrictions. This addition aligns closely with their current cargo needs and reflects NORDEN’s strategy of optimizing their fleet to meet specific market demands to ensure they deliver efficient and reliable transport solutions to our customers worldwide.
