Known for “Fueling Life’s Journeys,” Pilot Company is growing its network of travel centers with the opening of its newest location in Tumwater, Washington this October. The Flying J Travel Center is conveniently located at exit 99 on I-5 and will provide more than 70 commercial truck parking spaces, a Taco Bell and a wide selection of road-ready snacks and gear.
The new Flying J Travel Center is a joint venture with the Chehalis Tribe and will add approximately 50 jobs to the local community.
“Our Tumwater team is ready to welcome drivers to fuel, recharge and stock up for the road,” said Jason Nordin, Chief Operator of Pilot Company. “This is our 11th location in the state, and we appreciate the partnership with the Chehalis Tribe to bring this much-needed facility and jobs to the region. We take pride in keeping the trucking industry, and all of our guests, moving with friendly, fast and clean service at our stores across North America.”
To celebrate the grand opening, Pilot Company is donating $5,000 to benefit two of the areas school districts. The Oakville School District and the Rochester School District will each receive $2,500 as part of Pilot Company’s longstanding commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
