New member appointed to Halifax Port Authority Board of Directors

Ms. Deanna Furlotte has been appointed to the Halifax Port Authority Board of Directors as a Port User Director for a term of three years.

Ms. Furlotte is a senior executive with over 15 years experience developing business, strategic and financial insight in multiple business settings. She has extensive experience delivering profitable services to the not-for-profit sector.

“We are pleased to welcome Deanna Furlotte to the Halifax Port Authority Board of Directors,” said Thomas J. Hayes, Chair, Port Authority Board of Directors. “She brings to the board considerable experience and perspective that will benefit the Halifax Port Authority and larger port community. I would also like to thank Diana Dalton for her tremendous work over the past four years. She has been a very effective board member and we have all benefitted from her contributions and insight.”

In addition to Mr. Hayes, Deanna Furlotte joins Vice Chair Carole-Ann Moran-Miller, who was reappointed for a three-year term, and Directors Jim Spatz, David Cameron and André Boudreau.
