New European waterway service by Bolk

At the end of May, begin of June this year Bolk-Transport Gmbh Austria, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Austria, launched the new service "Break Bulk River Cargo – BBRC" on Rhine-Main-Danube canal. By offering regular connections between the North Sea and the Black Sea Bolk Austria pushes European waterways as cost-effective alternative transport route for Break Bulk, High & Heavy, Ro-Ro and other special project-cargo.

Project description

Loading a 1000 ton telescopic crane with equipment and its "little brother 500 ton" at the Port of Ennshafen in Austria on a river vessel to go upstream with final destination Sweden.
