MSC Panama Canal Emergency Surcharge
Apr 03, 2020Following the latest official advisory from the Panama Canal Authority concerning the “Maximum Authorized Draft for Neopanamax Locks,” MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company will apply a Panama Canal Emergency Surcharge (PCE), for the below scopes:

Effective May 2nd, 2020
From: USA WC Ports
To: Mexico/Canada East Coast, Israel, Africa, IPMR
From: USA EC Ports
To: Oceania, Asia, Mexico/Canada West Coast
Amount: $30/container
All contracts will be amended accordingly.
Turkey, East Med (except Israel), North Africa (except Agadir), Black Sea excluding EEA countries
Effective April 30th, 2020 gate in date
From: Turkey, East Med (except Israel), North Africa (except Agadir), Black Sea excluding EEA countries
To: USA PACIFIC
30 USD/TEU
From: Syria
To: USA PACIFIC
30 EUR/TEU
