MSC Panama Canal Emergency Surcharge

Following the latest official advisory from the Panama Canal Authority concerning the “Maximum Authorized Draft for Neopanamax Locks,” MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company will apply a Panama Canal Emergency Surcharge (PCE), for the below scopes:

Multitrade

Effective May 2nd, 2020

From: USA WC Ports

To: Mexico/Canada East Coast, Israel, Africa, IPMR

From: USA EC Ports

To: Oceania, Asia, Mexico/Canada West Coast

Amount: $30/container

​All contracts will be amended accordingly.

Turkey, East Med (except Israel), North Africa (except Agadir), Black Sea excluding EEA countries

Effective April 30th, 2020 gate in date

From: Turkey, East Med (except Israel), North Africa (except Agadir), Black Sea excluding EEA countries

To: USA PACIFIC

30 USD/TEU

From: Syria

To: USA PACIFIC

30 EUR/TEU
