MSC OVW scope: India to US

MSC has postponed the June 21st, 2021, effective date of the previously announced Overweight Surcharge (OVW) for all 20’ with a gross weight that exceeds 18 metric tons out of India only. The new effective date July 21, 2021.  The Quantum as also been adjust to the below amount.  All other origins remain as announced.

As from July 21, 2020 the OVW will be charged:

Cargo From: India

To: USA and Puerto Rico

  • USD 500 per 20’ if cargo gross weight exceeds 18MT
