MSC Kaliningrad service update

Apr 08, 2022

MSC is modifying its northern European service network to remove all calls at Kaliningrad with immediate effect and will no longer accept new bookings to/from Kaliningrad.

For existing bookings, and cargoes already in transit as of 11 April 2022, MSC will declare end-of-voyage at Gdansk in accordance with clause 19 of our Bill of Lading and Sea Waybill Terms and Conditions.

Cargo will be at your disposal for pick up on your own account (clause 19.1(c)) after payment of due costs and local charges.

Contact your usual MSC representative to discuss any impacted shipments.

MSC also reminded customers that on 1 March 2022 MSC introduced a suspension of bookings to/from any port in Russia, except for essential cargoes such as food, foodstuffs, medicine, medical equipment and humanitarian aid.
