MSC Gulf to SAEC string 2 service Paranagua added to port rotation

Jul 31, 2023

MSC will be implementing changes to its Gulf to SAEC String 2 service.

A new port destination in Brazil will be added by the introduction of Paranagua Port in the rotation starting from the MSC LAUSANNE Voyage 2330 S/N. The first call to Paranagua will be on 1 September.

In addition, commencing from the MSC Lausanne voyage 2338S/N, a nineth vessel will be introduced for a 63-day rotation as we enhance our network reliability and lower emissions by reducing the speed of our vessels.

Regardless of the operational changes capacity will remain unaffected.

The new rotation of the service will be as follows:

VERACRUZ – ALTAMIRA – HOUSTON – NEW ORLEANS – CARTAGENA – SUAPE – SANTOS – BUENOS AIRES – MONTEVIDEO – RIO GRANDE – NAVEGANTES – PARANAGUA – SANTOS – RIO DE JANEIRO – CARTAGENA – (VERACRUZ)
