MSC GRI from USA to Far East Ports effective December 1st, 2021

MSC announced that Effective December 1st, 2021 for all export cargo originating from USA & Puerto Rico to Far East a general rate increase will be applicable to all service contracts, tariff items and exempt commodities as follows:

GRI for USA to Far East Destinations

Applicable on dry containers with effective date 12.01.2021

  • USD 160. per 20' Dry and USD 200.- per 40' Dry from or via US West Coast, US East Coast (including Gulf) and Puerto Rico cargo to Northeast Asia & Southeast Asia (Boston and Seattle Excluded)
  • USD 500. per 20' Dry and USD 1000.- per 40' Dry from or via Boston and Seattle to Northeast Asia & Southeast Asia

Above GRI does not apply for reefer cargo.
