MSC EFC scope: From USA to Paraguay (all PODS) and from Paraguay (all POLS) to USA

Effective July 29th, 2021, for all the cargo originating from Paraguay to all US Ports and from all US Ports to Paraguay, the merchant will be liable for the charges for Emergency Feeder Contribution, which is a fee accessed to cover additional costs due to restrictions on the local barge operations. This surcharge is set to cover any limitation on the amount of cargo the Barge operators can load as set forth below.

This charge shall continue to be assessed until such time as Carrier provides notice in this tariff that the impact of the restrictions on its operations and those of any affected port(s) has ended. The merchant shall be liable for Emergency Feeder Contribution fee as set forth below and remains liable until the said charges have been paid in full.
