MSC BNSF Rail restriction from USA to Far East Ports

Nov 17, 2020

BNSF Rail weight restriction for bulk agricultural commodities effective November 16th, 2020

Please kindly take note of the announcement below, effective November 16th for BNSF LPC ramp and effective December 1st for BNSF LPKC ramp.

BNSF will NO longer accept bulk commodity shipments with loading over 52,000 lbs. until further notice. By implementing ‘light load’ programs for containerized agricultural commodities, BNSF is aiming to remain fluid and maximize ramps velocity.

Noncompliance to the new weight regulations will result in application of overweight mis-declaration fees and any additional cost or fines which arise from the overweight unit will be to the non compliant Customer’s account.
