MSC Announcement: See GRI and Demurrage increases

DEMURRAGE INCREASE PORT EVERGLADES

SCOPE: IMPORT TO PET - PORT EVERGLADES

Effective Date March 14th, 2025

Import Demurrage

All Terminal will bill and collect directly their own demurrage as per their publish tariff with the exception of the below listed terminals.

For the following terminals [Garden City Terminal, Savannah, North Charleston Terminal, Charleston, Wando Terminal, Charleston, Napoleon Avenue Terminal, New Orleans, Nashville Avenue Terminal, New Orleans, Trapac terminal, Oakland, Virginia International Terminal, Norfolk, Norfolk International Terminal, Norfolk, Portsmouth Terminal, Norfolk, Richmond, Virginia, Barbour’s Cut, Houston, Bayport, Houston, Wilmington International, Wilmington NC, Husky Terminal, Tacoma, Virginia Inland Port / Front Royal, Norfolk, Greer, Charleston, Dillon, Charleston, Appalachian Regional Port, Savannah] MSC will pass through terminal demurrage charges at cost

GRI - GENERAL RATE INCREASE

SCOPE: EMED (EXCLUDING ISRAEL, SOKHNA), AND BLACK SEA EXCLUDING EEA COUNTRIES TO USA & PUERTO RICO

POSTPONED TO APRIL 1st, 2025

Please be advised that Mediterranean Shipping Company has further postponed the implementation of GRI - General Rate Increase to April 1st, 2025 last container gate in date.

Equipment type: 20’ & 40’ Dry/Reefer/SOC/OT.

From: Egypt, Lebanon, Ukraine, Novorossiysk, Georgia, Moldova ports to USA and San Juan Puerto Rico

USD 200 /Cntr all equipment types

From: Sirya ports to USA and San Juan Puerto Rico

EUR 200/Cntr all equipment types

Please contact your MSC local agent for queries related to EEA port pairs not included in this announcement such as Bulgaria, Romania, Malta, Cyprus and Greece.

For your reference, EEA includes Member States of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom) including their Outermost Regions(Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Reunion, Martinique, Mayotte and Saint-Martin (France), the Azores and Madeira (Portugal), and the Canary Islands (Spain)) + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland.

GRI - GENERAL RATE INCREASE

SCOPE: IMPORT ISC/ME - INDIAN SUBCONTINENT/MIDDLE EAST TO USA

Effective Date March 15th, 2025

Please be advised that Mediterranean Shipping Company has filed and will implement the following GRI - General Rate Increase effective March 15th, 2025, as below.

Cargo from: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Middle East (Saudi Arabia (only Dammam & Jubail), Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates)

To: USA EAST COAST / USA GULF COAST / SAN JUAN

USD 1500 => per 20’ dry & reefer
USD 1500 => per 40’ dry & reefer

Kindly note that the above GRI is in addition to the March 1st, 2025, GRI.

Note that GRI is also applicable for SOC & SOT.
