SCHEDULE UPDATE – TRADE ASIA TO USA EAST COAST

Due to the ongoing challenging market situation generating congestion and schedule delays across the supply chain, MSC is planning the following sliding in week 51.

However, you may continue to place bookings as usual as we are arranging a contingency plan with alternative services.

Please note that all usual ports will be served via alternative services.

Should you have any question, please contact your local MSC representatives in a global network of more than 675 offices.

GRI - General Rate Increase

SCOPE: EMED (excluding Israel, Sokhna), and Black SEA EXCLUDING EEA countries to USA & PUERTO RICO

UPDATE

Please be advised that Mediterranean Shipping Company has further postponed the implementation of General Rate Increase (GRI) to December 15TH 2024 last container gate in date, and reduced the quantum.

Equipment type: 20’ & 40’ Dry/Reefer/SOC/OT.

From: Egypt, Lebanon, Ukraine, Novorossiysk, Georgia, Moldova ports to USA and San Juan Puerto Rico

  • USD 200 /Cntr all equipment types


From: Sirya ports to USA and San Juan Puerto Rico

  • EUR 200/Cntr all equipment types

Please contact your MSC local agent for queries related to EEA port pairs not included in this announcement such as Bulgaria, Romania, Malta, Cyprus and Greece.

For your reference, EEA includes Member States of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom) including their Outermost Regions(Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Reunion, Martinique, Mayotte and Saint-Martin (France), the Azores and Madeira (Portugal), and the Canary Islands (Spain)) + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland
