MSC Announcement: Operation Cost Contribution

Operation Cost Contribution

Effective Date August 15th, 2024

MSC has filed a new local charge on tariff MESU-032 in Indonesia (Operation Cost Contribution) effective March 1, 2024.

This is a local charge on collect basis, payable by the consignee.

Amounts:

  • 20’ DV: $12
  • 40’ DV/HC: $20
  • 45’ HC: $27

Effective August 15, 2024, this charge must be manifested on the B/L and it will be added to your service contract and rate agreement with MSC on collect basis.

Please be advised accordingly and duly sign the amendment when presented to you.

SCC - Service Container Service

SCOPE: USA/Puerto Rico to DOUALA (CAMEROON)

Effective Date September 11th, 2024

Please be advised, Mediterranean Shipping Company has filed SERVICE CONTAINER SERVICE, and will implement the following:

SERVICE CONTAINER SERVICE will be manifested and payable along with the FREIGHT. No collect payment.

PS: SERVICE CONTAINER SERVICE will replace the PAD charge that is taking effect August 15th, 2024
