Wilmington, DE – Momentum Logistics has named Jim Bertuola vice president and head of the company’s new operation in Delaware, at the Port of Wilmington. Momentum Logistics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Gulftainer Group.
“Jim comes to us with an extensive background in logistics and transport and is specifically familiar with the Port of Wilmington,” the company said. “We are looking forward to having his extensive experience to assist with achieving our goals and vision at the port.”
Momentum Logistics provides inland transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, logistics cities and container services throughout the Middle East and South Asia and now in the United States.
Bertuola has been with Burris Logistics of New Castle, DE, since 2006, where he was vice president and general manager, responsible for two facilities with $375 million in sales and 202 union employees.
He earlier served as transportation manager for Office Max in Hazleton, PA, director of operations at Maines paper and FoodService in Savage, MD, transportation manager at US Foodservice in Swedeboro, NJ, and senior transportation manager at Ameriserve in Burlington, NJ.
Bertuola has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Delaware Valley University.
