MOL to Establish Manning Agency in Croatia

Mar 30, 2022

To Support Seafarers More Closely

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) announced its intent to establish a manning agency, called MOL Maritime (Adriatic) d.o.o., in Croatia. The new company, wholly owned by MOL’s manning company in Europe, MOL Maritime (Europe) B.V. (Representative Osamu Takeshita; Headquarters: Rotterdam, the Netherlands), will be established on April 1, 2022.

Currently, MOL Maritime (Europe) B.V. is in charge of manning for European seafarers. In the future, the company will be combining the efforts with MOL Maritime (Adriatic) d.o.o. and work more closely with Croatian seafarers—who are main resource of MOL’s European seafarers, with the aim of ensuring a stable seafarer supply system for MOL-operated vessels.
