Stakeholders are working on easing the backlog; however, we are looking into minimum of one week to start seeing improvement.

  • Exports: As of today, CN is resuming acceptance of Dry Export loads destined to Delta Port, Vanterm, Centerm and Fraser Surrey from Brampton / Malport / Taschereau and Chicago. The rest of the origin terminals are under review.
  • Imports: They continue to work closely with all terminals in Vancouver to provide updates on inbound rail car footage and to coordinate the daily outbound loading.
  • Reefers: The priority is to first depart all export reefer traffic that is currently in gated at CN origin ramps.
