MAERSK ATHABASCA – COVID-19 indecent update

The MAERSK ATHABASCA, deployed on MSC’s Elephant service voyage 112W, was diverted to Vizhinjam, India due to suspected cases of COVID-19 onboard while en-route from Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia to Colombo, Sri Lanka. 

Maersk has confirmed that after completing a successful crew change in India, MAERSK ATHABASCA has arrived in Salalah and is scheduled to leave again today on 20 April, to continue its usual Elephant port rotation:

  • Salalah - New York - Norfolk - Savannah -Tanjung Pelepas - Laem Chabang - Singapore.
