Little Rock Port Authority elects officers for second term

The Little Rock Port Authority Board of Directors met June 18 and voted to reelect its officers. Clay McGeorge will serve as chair; and Stan Hastings will serve as vice-chair. Tamika Edwards will serve as treasurer. The officers were elected to a second, one-year term.

“We are thrilled to have the continued leadership of Clay, Stan and Tamika,” said Bryan Day, executive director of the Little Rock Port Authority. “First elected last June, our officers have overseen significant growth in the Port including the addition of hundreds of acres for the megasite and the addition of major industries in the Port”

The Port of Little Rock is led by the Little Rock Port Authority Board of Directors which is comprised of seven members appointed by the Mayor of Little Rock and confirmed by the Little Rock Board of Directors. Current members include Clay McGeorge, Stan Hastings, Tamika S. Edwards, Bobby Brown, Melissa Hendricks, Keith Harvey and Dexter Doyne.
