Jettainer appoints Köhler as COO

Jettainer has named Moritz Köhler as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Effective July 2026, the experienced air cargo executive has assumed responsibility for the company's newly restructured Operations division. In his new role, he will lead the continued development of Jettainer’s global operations, overseeing strategic fleet management and optimizing the company's worldwide network of ULD Control Desks and repair partners. A particular focus will be on advancing the digitalization of operational processes and continuously enhancing service quality for customers.

Moritz Köhler holds a degree in Business Administration and brings around 18 years of experience in the air cargo industry. Before joining Jettainer, he held various leadership and management positions at Lufthansa Cargo. In addition to international assignments in Commercial Management, he was responsible for establishing new market regions and leading strategic digitalization initiatives, most recently overseeing the implementation of the IATA ONE Record data standard.

He will play a key role in the strategic development of Jettainer’s operational organization and help shape our continued growth," says Dr. Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt, CEO of Jettainer.

In his new role, Köhler will focus on further advancing data-driven decision-making, optimizing the availability of Jettainer’s ULD fleet, and strengthening the resilience of the company’s operational organization to meet the demands of an increasingly dynamic market environment. The objective is to further improve both efficiency and quality while delivering even more effective, tailor-made solutions to customers worldwide.
