Inopower A/S welcomes Jens Seehusen Christensen as new CEO to Drive International Expansion

Feb 12, 2025

Inopower A/S, a leading provider of electrification and Power-to-Heat solutions, announces the appointment of Jens Seehusen Christensen as Chief Executive Officer, who will officially join the company on February 3, 2025. Jens brings over 20 years of experience in industrial technology, with senior leadership roles at Danfoss, Svendborg Brakes, Blücher A/S, and HMF where he consistently drove growth, developed new markets, and strengthened customer relationships.

Jens will partner with CFO Henrik Pape and COO Hans Peter Andersen to accelerate Inopower’s international growth and reinforce its position as a global leader in the green transition. Inopower, founded in 2002 by Troels Davidsen, a shareholder and head of business development, specializes in electrification technology such as large-scale hot water and steam E-Boilers and grid automation solutions for distributed energy assets, including battery energy storage systems (BESS). The company has an unparalleled track-record having delivered almost 3,000 MW of capacity across 12 countries.

Jens’ career highlights include leading global sales teams at Danfoss Power Solutions, expanding international growth at Svendborg Brakes as Chief Commercial Officer, and doubling revenue while boosting profitability as CEO of Blücher A/S. Furthermore, he served as CEO at HMF, where he turned a deficit into record profits and an all-time high order backlog. These achievements position him to replicate Inopower’s Danish success on a more international scale.

“The growing demand for industrial heat electrification presents significant opportunities for Inopower. As industries face ever-growing challenges related to decarbonization, Jens’ leadership and expertise will help Inopower expand internationally and solidify its role as a leader in Power-to-Heat solutions,” said Bjarne Lyngsø, Chairman of Inopower A/S.

Denmark’s pioneering role in renewable energy and district heating provides a strong foundation for Inopower’s growth. With almost 3 GW of Power-to-Heat systems installed, Inopower supports businesses and utilities in electrifying heat production, enhancing grid stability, and enabling greater renewable energy integration.

Jens expressed his enthusiasm for joining the company:

“Inopower is driving the green transition with proven, reliable, and innovative technology. We do this as a strong team, and my ambition is to strengthen our customer-focused, flexible, and collaborative approach to deliver tangible value to our customers and expand our international presence. I look forward to working closely with our customers, partners and with the talented team at Inopower to make a real difference in electrifying and decarbonizing energy systems worldwide.”
