IAG Cargo announces summer schedule with new St Louis (STL) route

Mar 30, 2026

IAG Cargo has announced its summer 2026 schedule, including the launch of a new route between London Heathrow and St Louis (STL).

Running from April through to October 2026, the schedule will see frequencies between London increase across key U.S gateways. Services between London Heathrow and Chicago (ORD) and Washington Dulles (IAD) will both grow from 14 to 21 flights per week, while services to San Diego (SAN) and Austin (AUS) will double from seven to 14 flights per week.

A key highlight is the launch of a new four-times-weekly service between London Heathrow and St. Louis beginning 19 April 2026. The route marks IAG Cargo’s 27th U.S. destination and provides the only direct connection between London Heathrow and the Midwest hub, offering freight forwarders faster, more efficient access to key manufacturing and aerospace supply chains.

IAG Cargo is also strengthening network flexibility through additional widebody capacity between London Heathrow and Madrid. This increase enhances feed into transatlantic services from both hubs, giving freight forwarders greater optionality when routing shipments between Europe, North America and Latin America.

Madrid will see the resumption of services to San Francisco (SFO). Further east, frequencies between London Heathrow and Tokyo Haneda will increase to double daily.

IAG Cargo is also strengthening its presence in Canada with increased capacity between London and Vancouver (YVR). Services from London Heathrow to Vancouver will grow from seven to 10 flights per week, rising further to 14 weekly flights during July and August, while a new daily service between London Gatwick (LGW) and Vancouver that will operate between May and September.

Camilo Garcia Cervera, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, IAG Cargo, said:

“This summer schedule is focused on giving freight forwarding partners greater choice and flexibility across key global trade lanes. The addition of St. Louis opens up important access into the U.S Midwest, while increased frequencies across North America, expanded connectivity via Madrid and additional capacity to Haneda and Canada ensure we can support a wide range of time-critical and high-value shipments.”

With hubs in London, Madrid, Dublin and Barcelona, IAG Cargo provides extensive global connectivity across six continents. London alone offers capacity on more than 700 weekly widebody services, while Dublin provides a key transatlantic gateway with around 100 weekly widebody rotations. Madrid and Barcelona together provide capacity on 275 weekly widebody connections to destinations across North America, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Alongside the expansion of its network, IAG Cargo continues to enhance its portfolio of specialist transportation solutions, including the recently launched AOG service, designed to support the rapid movement of critical aircraft parts.
