A new logistics warehouse is now available to serve the bustling I-95 region of the U.S. eastern seaboard, the most densely populated corridor in the United States.
Capitol 95 Logistics, a 934,534-square-foot Class A premier industrial facility, was completed in June 2026 by Contegra Construction Company, in partnership with Prairie Village, Kansas-based Flint Development.
In addition to its close proximity to I-95, the facility – located at 211 Centreport Parkway in Fredericksburg, Virginia – is also only 55 miles from Dulles International Airport, 88 miles from the Port of Baltimore and 149 miles from The Port of Virginia.
“This region stretches from Florida to Maine and includes more than 20% of the nation’s roadway network,” said Jack Henke, project manager at Contegra. “It’s just a hot spot with a lot of traffic, and this new facility is perfectly positioned for success.”
While Capitol 95 is another milestone in Contegra's growing portfolio of work in the Commonwealth of Virginia, it is far from the company's last. Building on its success in the region, Contegra has already commenced construction on another project just a few miles south of Capitol 95 and continues to see a strong pipeline of opportunities throughout the state.
"We've seen a steady flow of new opportunities in Virginia, and our experience here has positioned us well for continued growth," said Henke. "We're excited to keep building relationships, serving our clients, and delivering many more successful projects across the Commonwealth in the years ahead."
The new facility was built with reinforced tilt-up concrete wall panels, which were all placed over the course of just 10 days. Contegra also partnered with St. Louis-based ViCon Construction for an on-site batch plant that provided the more than 450,000 cubic yards of concrete necessary for the massive building.
Contegra began earthwork in April 2025 and – despite numerous weather delays from excessive rain – finished construction in June 2026.
“The atypical weather certainly made it challenging at times, but the crew persevered and delivered a state-of-the-art facility,” Henke said. “We’re grateful for the solid relationship we have with Flint Development, and the team was thrilled to work on a project in such a key area of the country.”
