Hutchison Ports BEST has formalized, in an event held jointly with the Vice- President of ZPMC (the world’s leading manufacturer of port equipment), the purchase of three new next-generation Ship-to-Shore cranes (STS).
This transaction strengthens the close collaboration between BEST and ZPMC, and also adds to the arrival scheduled for June of two additional cranes that are currently in transit.
This acquisition represents a new step in the terminal’s growth strategy and reaffirms BEST’s commitment to operational excellence and the continuous improvement of its services. All the new cranes will feature maximum-capacity specifications, with 55 meters under spreader and an outreach of 26 containers across, enabling more efficient operations for next-generation vessels.

The addition of these new cranes will have a direct impact on several strategic areas for the terminal and for all its users:
