Heavy crane parts sail from Holland to Norway

Steder Group B.V., member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for The Netherlands, through their Project Logistics Department recently performed a break-bulk operation in the Port of Rotterdam as four heavy crane parts were transported in an inland waterway vessel from Drachten to Rotterdam.

In Rotterdam, the transshipment took place from the inland waterway vessel to a coaster vessel for ocean transport to Norway. Steder Group utilized a heavy-lift crane in Rotterdam port at RHB Terminal to carry out the transshipment.
The cargo arrived safely in Norway this week and was successfully discharged in the Port of Leirvik.
