Hapag-Lloyd to temporarily omit Savannah, US call on EC2 service

The Port of Savannah continues to face congestions. Therefore, Hapag-Lloyd has taken a few measures to clear backlogs in some of ports, and aid the services' schedule integrity.

If you are shipping with the East Coast 2 Loop (EC2) service, please note that Hapag-Lloyd will not be calling the Port of Savannah (US East Coast) starting on week 50, 2021 through week 1, 2022 on the listed vessels below that will be omitting this port.

  • Week 50, 2021 ONE Hawk
  • Week 51, 2021 Hyundai Honour
  • Week 52, 2021 Rome Express
  • Week 1, 2022 Antwerpen Express

If you would like to use this port for your shipments, the following services are optional:

  • East Coast Loop 1 (EC1)
  • East Coast Loop 4 (EC4)
  • East Coast Loop 5 (EC5)
