Hapag-Lloyd: Saint John, NB terminal congestion

Aug 31, 2020

Hapag-Lloyd announced that as a result of terminal congestion in Saint John, NB and to ensure safe and efficient vessel and terminal services, the terminal will not be in-gating any trucks that arrive for local pickup of standard containers from any MCA service vessels until September 8, 2020.

This will allow their operations to clear the backlog and to ensure fluidity. Rail containers will be handled during this period.

All Out-Of-Gauge (OOG) and destuffing requests will be scheduled.
