Hapag-Lloyd revises booking cancellation fee for China & China/Hong Kong

Hapag-Lloyd will postpone the implementation of the Booking Cancellation fee for export bookings from China and China/Hong Kong. The new effective date will be April 1, 2020.

Details are as as follows:

  • The Booking Cancellation fee will be applicable for export bookings from China and China/Hong Kong which are cancelled 7 calendar days or less before the ETD of the first intended vessel due to customer related issues.
  • Manual Processing Fee of Booking Cancellation (MPO): CNY300 per Bill applicable for China export shipment.
  • Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF): HK300 per Bill applicable for Hong Kong export shipment.

The Booking cancellation fee is chargeable for customer requested cancellations only.
