GS Express Logistics Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia (GS) completed the first two of four shipments for Calcasieu Pass LNG Export Terminal Project by RORO, barging, and transportation from Jutasama Fabricator in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor, Malaysia to Westport, Port Klang, Malaysia.

There were two lots of cargoes, the first lot had a total volume of 4,392 CBM and a total tonnage of 1,130 tons. The second lot had a volume of 5,342 CBM and a total weight of 1,346 tons.

Oversized cargoes were then loaded onto the mother vessel via Double Banking at Westport, Port Klang, Malaysia and general cargoes were transported via inland transportation from the fabricator’s factory to the wharf side.  Self-Propelled Trailer and Pull Type Hydraulic Multi Axle Trailer were used in carrying out all RORO works onto a 250 ft Ballastable Barge at the fabricator’s jetty.
