Greek discharge operation of windmill parts

The project experts from Cosmatos Group where contracted to arrange for safe discharge of windmill parts that arrived onboard the MV CHIPOLBROK PACIFIC at Thessaloniki Port in transit to North Macedonia.

This was the biggest vessel ever to arrive at Thessaloniki port to discharge windmills.

The shipment comprised of:

- 9 complete set of windmill parts with total volume 62000 cbm and weight 6500 ton

- 219 units in one shipment

- Heaviest unit generator 105 tons

The scope of work for the Cosmatos team included:

- Unlashing/unwelding at Thessaloniki port
- Offloading in tandem and single lift
- Port arrangements for temporary storage at port designated area
- Inward customs clearance formalities
