Fleet Advantage’s Davis recognized among Monitor’s Most Influential People in Equipment Finance

Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in specialty financing, fleet data analytics, fleet management services, and life cycle cost management, announced today that Don Davis, CTP, Executive Vice President of National Accounts, has been recognized among Monitor’s Most Influential People in Equipment Finance in the Client Champions category, and named a 2025 Sales Rainmaker Award recipient by the Transportation Marketing & Sales Association (TMSA). These dual honors come shortly after Davis’s promotion to Executive Vice President of National Accounts, which reflects his expanded leadership role in driving strategic growth and strengthening client partnerships at Fleet Advantage.

The Monitor Most Influential People in Equipment Finance recognition celebrates professionals who have redefined the client experience through innovation and service excellence. Davis was selected in the Client Champions category for his consultative, data-driven approach that has modernized how organizations with transportation fleets manage their assets and financing strategies.

With more than 30 years in the transportation industry, Davis has built enduring client relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and measurable results. Through programs such as Life Cycle Cost Management, per-truck profit and loss (P&L) analysis, and customized financing models, he helps clients gain deeper financial visibility and unlock millions in savings. His leadership ensures clients view Fleet Advantage not just as a vendor, but as a trusted strategic business partner aligned with their long-term financial and operational goals.

“To me, an exceptional client experience means anticipating challenges and delivering solutions that build confidence and trust,” said Davis. “It’s about being proactive, strategic, and results-driven - helping our clients achieve measurable success through innovative lifecycle and financing strategies.”

In addition to his recognition from Monitor, Davis was also named a 2025 Sales Rainmaker Award recipient by TMSA. This award recognizes high-performing sales professionals across the transportation and logistics industry who have demonstrated exceptional achievement, performance, and leadership.

Since joining Fleet Advantage in 2019, Davis has achieved record-breaking sales milestones, exceeding quotas by more than 1,500% over five years and maintaining top-performer status across all metrics. As Executive Vice President of National Accounts, he leads strategic client partnerships for many of America’s top private fleets, helping them reduce costs, improve safety, and modernize operations.

Davis has been a driving force behind the adoption of Fleet Advantage’s EXchangeIT® program, which allows organizations with transportation fleets to cycle out trucks as early as three years or 300,000 miles - improving fuel economy, reducing maintenance costs, and lowering CO₂ emissions. He also spearheaded the company’s Fleet Modernization Study and Safety-First Program, which have helped clients reduce accident exposure, enhance cost predictability, and achieve significant operational savings.

“We are extremely proud of Don’s accomplishments and his recognition as both one of Monitor’s Most Influential People in Equipment Finance and a TMSA Sales Rainmaker Award recipient,” said Brian Holland, President and CEO of Fleet Advantage. “Don’s leadership, passion, and dedication to client success reflect the values that define Fleet Advantage, and these awards, along with his recent promotion, are a testament to his ongoing impact on our company and the industry.”
