ECU Trucking expands US operations, appoints new Vice President

ECU Worldwide, global multi-modal logistics major and the world’s leading player in Less-than Container Load (LCL) ocean freight consolidation, is expanding its trucking business in the United States of America, with the appointment of Douglas Cumming as Vice President of USA Inland, Domestic Transportation, ECU Trucking. Douglas will be joining the team with over 15 years of experience in the domestic cargo transportation ecosystem.

ECU Trucking, founded in 2017, is a growing division of ECU Worldwide focused on diverse inland cargo movement in the United States. ECU Trucking offers digital tracking and extended support of a global logistics network, to deliver door-to-door logistics support to freight forwarders. The division specializes in Lower than Truck load (LTL), Full Trailer Load (FTL) and Full Container/Drayage Load (FCL) as well as project cargo handling. ECU Trucking is distinguished in the inland logistics space through services like no National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC), no additional invoices after 48 hours, geographically focused services and API compatibility.
