ECS Group launches Lebanese operations

Jun 30, 2026

ECS Group is establishing an Eastern Mediterranean presence and opening new offices in Lebanon on 1 July 2026. Airlines and freight forwarders will benefit from a financially secure, leading international GSSA market presence supported by digital innovation and local market expertise.

Two new offices will go into operation on 1 July 2026 – one located onsite at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) and the other in downtown Beirut. ECS Group’s latest GSSA branches will serve a mix of narrow-body and wide-body operating airlines, providing full commercial and compliance support to carriers looking to expand their networks in the region.

“Lebanon has long been on our expansion roadmap in its function as a key trade corridor between Europe and the Middle East, and discussions with existing and potential partners have consistently pointed to strong regional development prospects both currently and in the future,” says Jean Ceccaldi, Chief Executive Officer of ECS Group. “Until now, the market has lacked a structured GSSA organisation with strong digital capabilities. Our teams bring these capabilities to Lebanon, along with a keen focus on commercial efficiency, compliance standards, and customer centricity. ECS Group is committed to investing in a long-term presence in Beirut to support Lebanon’s trade flows and economic resilience, by building durable local and international partnerships.”

ECS Group’s Lebanese teams will offer cargo sales and booking management for the region’s general cargo and perishables shipments. With full access to innovative CargoTech software solutions, the teams will maximise available cargo capacity usage, and respond quickly to changing market requirements, offer freight forwarders reliable services that are fully compliant with industry standards and regulations.
