ECS Group and Global GSA Group: Impact Week ignites collective action and inspires a culture of giving back

Jul 01, 2025

At ECS Group and Global GSA Group, social responsibility is more than a principle—it is a catalyst for action. The first Impact Week, held June 16–20, demonstrated a unique ability to mobilize, innovate, and transform solidarity into meaningful results across the globe.

More than just a week: a collective movement

Several hundreds of employees joined forces for a series of high-impact initiatives such as: turtle conservation and beach clean-ups in Malaysia, food, clothing and toy drives in France, food collection campaigns in Spain, the Netherlands and Italy, and support for families in need in Turkey and Canada. Each action—big or small—was driven by the creativity, energy, and commitment of the teams, proving that social impact is both a collective and personal responsibility.

Mobilization at the heart of the approach

What made this first Impact Week so remarkable? ECS Group and Global GSA Group succeeded in uniting, inspiring, and empowering every team member to get involved and make a difference. In Italy, colleagues coordinated food donations for vulnerable communities. In Canada, a redistribution campaign supported families in need. In Malaysia, awareness was raised for biodiversity protection. Across all locations, individual initiative led to collective achievement.

Engagement that lasts beyond the week

Impact Week marks only the beginning. New initiatives are already planned for July, including a visit to a girls’ foundation in Mexico and support for an orphanage in Vietnam. In July, all actions carried out during Impact Week will be highlighted and shared internally, allowing employees to discover, celebrate, and draw inspiration from the collective impact achieved. These achievements will also be amplified on social media, providing a powerful example of positive action.

Leadership voices

Jean Ceccaldi, CEO of ECS Group, highlights: “What strikes me most is the energy our teams have unleashed, their ability to turn ideas into real-world impact across continents. Impact Week embodies our ambition: to combine professional excellence with social commitment.”

Aytekin Saray, CEO of Global GSA Group, adds: “Our people took ownership, created new synergies, and pushed the boundaries of our charity program. This collective drive is our greatest strength.”

Laurence Sauphanor, Chief Sustainable Officer of ECS Group and Global GSA Group, comments: “As a group, we are putting a great deal in place to drive positive change, but what truly makes the difference is feeling the motivation and mobilization of our teams. Their enthusiasm and commitment are the real engine behind our sustainability journey. It’s inspiring to see how everyone is eager to contribute and take action together.”

Building a global culture of engagement

Impact Week is set to become an annual, evolving, and participatory event, shaped by the ideas and needs of teams worldwide. The objective: transform every local initiative into a global wave of positive change.
