DANX has acquired full-service logistics company TLS, a Denmark based logistics specialist in the transport, preparation, and installation of new technical equipment.
The move is the latest of a number of acquisitions made by in night, time critical specialist DANX Carousel throughout Europe to build upon both its final mile reach and product offering.
“We welcome Claus Huss and the TLS team to the DANX Carousel Group. This strategic acquisition allows us to offer more comprehensive logistics solutions across the Nordics," said Lars Bo Larsen, Managing Director Denmark, DANX.
"Integrating TLS’s expertise enables us to meet our customers’ needs by providing them with enhanced value and efficiency. We look forward to our combined efforts delivering excellent results”.
Claus Huss, one of the former owners of TLS, will stay with the company to drive business and support Bo Larsen, throughout the acquisition process and beyond.
Established in 1999, TLS focusses on the transport, assembly and disassembly of different kinds of technical equipment throughout Denmark and Sweden.
It has also built up five ‘storage hotels’ in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö which are available for its clients to store inventory ready for despatch 24/7.
DANX, in the previous twelve months, has acquired regional companies Forslund & Malmström (FOMAB), and Tromsø Budbil Sentral (TBS).
TLS will join the wider DANX Carousel group as it continues to expand its time critical Europe focused logistics service.
