Cornwell joins Polar King as delivery driver

Polar King International, Inc. announces the hiring of Tommie Cornwell as delivery driver. Cornwell’s primary responsibilities will include loading, unloading, securing and delivering Polar King’s exclusive line of walk-in cold storage units to customers around the country.

“Adding talented and experienced truck drivers such as Tommie is essential to maintaining our high standards for on-time delivery and superior customer service,” says Polar King International director of refrigeration Kevin Wilson. “We are excited to onboard yet another enthusiastic truck driver. Our drivers work on the front lines, and I know Tommie will make a great impression with our customers.”

Before joining Polar King, Cornwell served most recently as a truck driver at Vanek Brothers Trucking for more than three years. Additionally, Cornwell is the second truck driver to be hired in just over a year. In October of 2022, Jake Jackson joined the transportation team. Also hired in October of 2022 is Heather Davis, Polar King’s transportation coordinator.

Polar King provides a range of ground-resting electric outdoor walk-in freezer and refrigerator units. These units cater to diverse industries, such as foodservice, pharmaceuticals, catering, school administration, hospitals, first responders and government sectors. All Polar King units are American-made, delivered fully assembled and showcase a seamless fiberglass design.
