Comptoir de Location uses Hiboo to help its clients measure carbon footprint

The fifth largest rental company in France uses technology provided by Hiboo – the fast-growing expert in the field of data analysis of industrial assets – so as to offer its clients new services.

Comptoir de Location, a specialist in the rental of machinery for use in construction, public works, materials handling, and industry, with 41 outlets in France, is setting up a service covering the use of machinery, based on Hiboo’s data analysis technology.

The clients of this family business can now access the data that concerns the use and exploitation of their rented machinery (usage, idling, fuel consumption, anomalies…) and can measure their CO2 emissions in real-time.

The whole of the company’s pool of equipment is connected, i.e. over 6,000 items of machinery, construction equipment, and trucks from a dozen or so major manufacturers such as Kubota, Liebherr, Bomag, Merlo, Bell, Atlas Copco, etc.

For Comptoir de Location, using the Hiboo platform in its sales network also means better stock control and improved procedures for maintenance and invoicing. The partnership with Hiboo will enable it to step up the digitization process.
