Combilift unveils heavy-duty 8T Electric Sideloader – the new Combi-FSE 8000 – at Ligna 2025

Combilift has expanded its popular FSE range with the launch of the Combi-FSE 8000 – an 8-ton capacity, four-wheel electric sideloader designed to meet the increasing demand for high-capacity, emission-free handling of long and bulky loads.

Making its debut at Ligna in Hannover, the Combi-FSE 8000 delivers all the proven advantages of the smaller FSE models – such as class-leading operator visibility, low maintenance, and patented traction control – now scaled up for more intensive, heavy-duty environments. This next-generation sideloader offers zero-emission performance without compromising on power, safety, or durability, making it the ideal solution for industries handling timber, steel, and other long loads in confined or indoor spaces.

• Advanced independent traction control: Two 18kW drive motors (up from 15kW on smaller models) paired with Combilift’s patented steering and traction technology ensure smooth, safe handling – even in wet or uneven yard conditions.
• Optimized battery placement: The under-deck rear battery configuration enhances visibility and truck balance, enabling seamless reversing and quick battery changeovers for multi-shift operations.
• Heavy-duty load platform: The reinforced chassis and extended deck design comfortably accommodate long and heavy loads, while maintaining the compact footprint and maneuverability the FSE is known for.
