CMA CGM weight charge - exports from Barcelona, Bilbao, Castellon, Gijon, Sagunto, Valencia & Vigo, Spain

All containers to be loaded in the ports of Barcelona, Bilbao, Castellon, Gijon, Sagunto, Valencia & Vigo, Spain, are weighted to ensure SOLAS regulation compliance by providing the corresponding VGM value.

CMA CGM has announced the “weight charge" updated amounts applicable as follows:

Effective July 1st, 2022, loading date (July 5th for US trades):

  • Exports from Barcelona, Bilbao, Castellon, Gijon, Sagunto, Valencia & Vigo
  • Cargo: dry & reefer
  • Quantum: EUR 15 per container
  • Payment: prepaid
