CMA CGM update on Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) in the Republic of Guinea

Updated information on the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN/BESC) which is in place in the Republic of Guinea since 2018.

Further to notice #0082/DNMM/MT/20 issued on September 21st, 2020 by the Republic of Guinea Ministry of Transport, the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) is mandatory for all shipments Import bound for Conakry, Export and In-Transit.

ECTN procedure must be activated in due time under Shippers’ responsibility. 4 documents are mandatory for ECTN issuance and Customs admissibility in Conakry, Republic of Guinea:

  • Bill of Lading
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Export Declaration
  • Freight Invoice
